. . . for Friends With Friends Who Know How To Do Things

I was blessed this evening to have a friend call a friend and ask for help on my behalf.  Here is the story:  I bought my house last year, and the door leading from the garage to the house had only a doorknob lock on it and I did not have a key to the lock.  Everytime I went to work or anywhere else in the car, I would leave the door into the house unlocked, so that I could get into the house from the garage.  This bothered me, and it didn't feel very safe, so I bought a doorknob with lock and a bolt lock combo.  I also bought the tool that helps you cut the hole for the bolt lock. I bought these over a month ago, and never got around to installing them, because I knew it was going to be a big job, especially for someone with very little experience in installing doorknobs and locks. I had some friends over for a barbecue this week, and conversation somehow got around to me needing to install the knob and lock.  One of my friends said he had a friend who was very good and very quick at that kind of work, and he would bring his friend over to do mine if I wanted.  I wanted!!  The friend and his friend came over this evening and installed the knob and lock, aren't they beautiful!!
Outside and Inside

I am very grateful to have friends who care and share, and for friends of friends, who help me even when they don't know me.  I am also grateful to have new locks on my door!  I feel much more secure now!
