. . . for A Bounteous Garden

Let me start with the vegetable garden.  This year I planted my very first vegetable garden.  I have helped my parents with theirs in the past, but wasn't sure I could do one on my own (okay, with some help from a very good friend, but no parents).  I built garden boxes, put in the garden soil, and planted some seeds.  Lo and behold, three weeks later I have some very visible plants!  I am very excited, and grateful that I have the land, the means, and the time to plant and care for a garden.  The only pictures of the garden that came out nice are the ones of the peas and tomato cages, so I will share those now.

This is the corner of my yard where the garden boxes are located, and the other part of the yard containing boxes.  It is truly wonderful to have the space to do this!

Now, the other garden that I have.  This is in the front yard, and is meant to be shared with all who pass by.  I am not the one who planted it, and I am very grateful to whomever did prepare and plant it.  When I have the windows open the scent from this garden enters the house, and I enjoy it.  I am speaking of the rose garden in front of my house.

Pictures of the most beautiful and colorful roses: red, yellow, purple, orange and pink, light pink, vibrant pink, and other dark pinks. These flowers are truly a blessing, they make me smile when I see my house, and the scent invigorates me. Plus, I can share these flowers with others, and still have beauty at home!  God is great to provide such beauty on this earth!
