. . . For Sisters Who Push Me

I mean that title in two different ways.  Last Saturday two of my sisters and I ran a 5k called the "Dirty Dash".  It was a lot of fun, and as you will see in the pictures below, very dirty.  I am not in very good shape, and cannot run a 5k.  The sisters who were with me run half-marathons.  There is a very different fitness level between us. They "pushed" me by encouraging me, telling me I could do it, and leading the way, and they also physically pushed me, by putting their hands on my back as we were running and giving me a little extra length in my stride when both feet were off the ground!  I had a great time and am very grateful for sisters who help me along!  Next year I plan to be in much better shape-so I don't have to be pushed as much.  Love you, Adrienne and Tara!!

Enjoy the pictures, I enjoyed the 5k (and would love to see some of you there next year)!

Before the race

My watch and arm and shoe - a little muddy!

Make that really muddy!

Really muddy-but having a great time!
