. . . for Feline Companionship

I have two cats, and I absolutely love them! They cheer me up when I am sad, they are always loving, and one of them always wants to sit on my lap, or by my side, or at my back, just so she is touching me in some way, which is a very comforting thing. The other one always wants to be petted, but she won't sit still for it, she wanders all over, and expects my hand to follow wherever she goes! She also talks, a lot. It is adorable (although at times can be a little annoying)!

This video shows the first official meeting of my cats. Sweatpea is the Russian Blue and is 3 years old. Allie is the short haired black cat and is 6 years old. Sweetpea wants to be friends right away. You can see that Allie is not enamored of the idea and is hissing and backing away. They get along better now, usually. Allie will still swat Sweetpea occasionally, but there are no claws involved, and Sweetpea does nothing to stop her, so I am trying to be patient with Allie.

And here are a few pictures. These two cats are very loving and sweet. They help me feel happy when I am sad, they provide companionship when I am lonely, and they are not too demanding. I am grateful that I have them.

Pretty cats. We are glad you have them, too.
